Utilizing data scraping tool, I collected video data related to the US elections and debates on YouTube at specific dates. Employing Gephi for visualization, I mapped out the web of connections among these video IDs, displaying a complex network of interrelations. Such analysis offers a deeper understanding of the extent to which American netizens, within the ambit of US election discourse, might be subject to the shaping forces of algorithms and the impacts of echo chambers, thereby influencing their perspectives and reinforcing existing political opinions/biases.
